Now Viewing: nicole_(metroid)Tag type: Character An original male Metroid character created by a Japanese doujinshi artist named Onomeshin. Nicole debuted in "Erosuit Samus X" and also appeared in the follow-up title "Zero Gravity", both by Onomeshin. He and Samus_Aran share a romantic/sexual relationship throughout the two stories. In "Erosuit Samus X", Nicole is described as a young man who hails from an obscure system called Garia, and is a member of a human subspecies referred to as "Beastmen". He is said to have been rescued by Samus personally and subsequently allowed to live in her home. In between Samus's limited number of visits, Nicole takes care of housekeeping, ship maintenance, and other tasks while she is away. It is said that Beastmen are known to experience mating seasons; an occurrence which provides the impetus for the developments in "Erosuit Samus X". In "Zero Gravity", Nicole is said to have moved out on his own. Having his own life means that he and Samus have even less time to see each other. Samus's AI companion Arthur points this out to her as the cause of her increased stress levels. Instead of getting ready for her upcoming mission, Samus accepts Arthur's suggestion that she use the time to visit Nicole at the Galactic Federation Academy in which he is newly enrolled. While the two are out on a date, Nicole informs Samus of his decision to become a ship mechanic, stemming from a desire to be like her and to help her protect the galaxy. After the date, Samus prepares to leave due to her running out of time before her next mission, but Nicole, sensing Samus's high stress, urges her to stay. This leads to Samus and Nicole spending the night together in a hotel.
