Now Viewing: rebecca_chambersTag type: Character A short haired and short female medic from Resident Evil series. She debuted as a supporting character in the original Resident Evil and starred in Resident Evil Zero and has also appeared in the Gamecube remake of Resident Evil and is a playable character in Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 5 and in Resident Evil Mercenaries 3d. She is the youngest playable female character and is a rookie in the S.T.A.R.S.S team. For these reasons, she does not do as much fighting as other characters, but she still manages to survive the ordeals she's placed into. However, in her Mercenaries appearances she is perfectly capable of handling and effective at using even the larger guns. She experiences the events of Resident Evil Zero and the original game virtually back to back with only a few hours of sleep, which may explain why she seems more frightened and nervous in the latter game than she is in the former. Although she only has a major role in two games and has dropped out of the main Resident Evil story after RE1, she is a fairly popular character and has made quite a few appearances in other RE games. She also has a much more prominent role in S.D. Perry's Resident Evil novel adaptations. However, series creator Mikami Shinji disliked her, citing her as his least favorite female character in his games and stated that he didn't want to include her in the original game but the other staff members insisted. She is modeled after pop singer Hamasaki Ayumi who was also the spokesperson for Resident Evil Zero. She is voiced by Lynn Davis (RE1) who was also the voice director of the game, Riva Di Paola (Zero), Hope Levy (REmake), and Stephanie Sheh (Umbrella Chronicles and RE5). She is played by Linda (last name not given) in live action cutscenes of Resident Evil 1.
