The series he is from is tagged Angry_Video_Game_Nerd_(series) He is a bespectacled white shirt wearing video game player who is stuck in the past. Although he stars in a series that is set in the 2000s-2010s, he sticks to playing video games and consoles from the 1970s-1990s and reacts with bewilderment the few times he plays a console and game from the 2000s-2010s. He spends most of his time playing video games and has a short temper when it comes to bad video games. Bad games will upset him so much that he spends the majority of his time cursing them and even inventing new swear words just to express his displeasure. The games cause him so much stress that he resorts to drinking a lot of alcohol, predominantly Rolling Rock. In the most extreme cases, he will even destroy the game. However, outside of bad video games, the Nerd is much calmer and does have many video games that he genuinely enjoys. He will also occasionally concede that some of the games he plays aren't that bad even if he spent the majority of the video complaining about them. Despite the apparent misery the bad games he plays causes him, he does genuinely enjoy doing what he does and is motivated by the fans' appreciation of his work. Despite spending most of his time playing games, he is surprisingly good at fighting and is often able to win fights with various characters who harass him. In combat, he often uses video game accessories like light guns or the Power glove, which in the series' universe are able to function like real weapons. He also has an odd relationship with the Guitar Guy who sings his theme song and who literally lives behind the Nerd's couch. While he does not interact with the Guy much and often acts as if he isn't there, he has occasionally called over the Guitar Guy to play games with him. He is close with his pet black cat, Death Kitty. He makes an unvoiced cameo in the anime The Unlimited Hyobu Kyousuke. He is played by James_Rolfe.
