He began his manga career in the mid 2000s and is most well known as the creator of the slice of life comedy manga Oshiete!_Galko-chan. On December 20, 2021, his career took a massive hit once he was arrested on suspicion for importing and possessing child porn from Germany. This led to the still ongoing Galko-chan being suspended. He was sentenced to one year and two months in prison on March 29, 2022, followed by probation for three years. After the probation ended, he resumed the manga on October 15, 2025.
