Now Viewing: pikmin_3Tag type: Copyright Pikmin 3 (ピクミン3 Pikumin Surī) is a real-time strategy video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii_U video game console in 2013. It was co-produced by Miyamoto_Shigeru, and is the third game in the Pikmin series. The game can be played in solo, two-player competitive and two-player cooperative mode. There are 3 leaders to choose from: Alph_(Pikmin), Brittany_(Pikmin) and Charlie_(Pikmin, who are astronauts from the planet Koppai who have come to the Pikmin world to collect fruit and seeds, since Koppai is suffering a famine. The leaders control the Pikmin (Pikmin_(creature)) just as in the previous games in the series. There are new Pikmin in the game: grey rock_pikmin and pink flying_pikmin. Captain Olimar and Louie_(Pikmin) from Pikmin_2 also appear in Pikmin 3.
