Now Viewing: brabham_bt26Tag type: General The Repco Brabham BT26 was a Formula_One racing car design. A development of the previous BT24, its Repco engines were unreliable, but following a switch to Cosworth DFV engines it scored two World Championship Grand Prix wins and finished runner up in the 1969 World Constructors' Championship. One of the BT26's variants is (in)famous because it had two wings, front and rear, mounted higher than the driver's head. The McLaren M7C also had two high-mounted wings, plus "standard" wings at the front sides, and two winglets on the front top.
