In spite of her youthful appearance, she is an ancient shark from the depths of Atlantis. She left Atlantis to become a streamer on the surface due to finding it boring down there. Her birthday is on June 20, which is also the release date of the iconic shark movie, Jaws. She has a running joke where she only exclaims the short a vowel sound, which started on her Twitter, where she made a post that solely consisted of the letter a. She is accompanied by a small shark named Bloop. She specializes in rhythm games with Muse Dash being one of her favorites. In her conversation streams she often informs the audience about various real life shark facts/trivia. She has a child like demeanor matching her physical appearance, being prone to getting up to all sorts of mischief as well as comically clumsy. In her 3D appearances, she is fond of turning around and shaking her tail towards the camera. Amongst her genmates, she is particularly close to Watson Amelia and is a big fan of Hololive Japan's Murasaki Shion, a relationship that culminated in them marrying each other in Minecraft and they coincidentally ended up leaving hololive in close proximity to each other. She became instantly popular upon debut, becoming one of the fastest growing vtubers in history, gaining 1,000,000 subscribers in little over a month of her debut, the first vtuber in Hololive to accomplish such a feat, and quickly became not only the most subscribed vtuber of Hololive but also the most subscribed vtuber on Youtube in less than two years, accumulating over 4.7 million subscribers by the end of her hololive career. However, this unprecedented popularity and exposure also put her under a lot of pressure, and contributed to her taking longer hiatuses in the last two years of her time at hololive. She had actually wanted to graduate earlier, but stuck it out until 2025. She won two awards in 2023, the VTuber award at the Stream Awards, and Most Dedicated Fanbase at the VTuber awards.
