She is a virtual_youtuber who debuted on November 29, 2021. She was designed by Parsley who had previously designed a vtuber character that was never used for hololive. hololive's vtubers often play fast and loose with their character lore, but Chloe is notably one of the fastest to subvert it. When holox was first announced, she was presented as a serious and mysterious character with her initial official art showing her with the orca eye mask and a stoic expression on her face. As soon as she appeared onscreen during her debut, she revealed herself to be highly emotionally expressive, playful, clumsy, and having a high-pitched speaking voice. She also removed her eye mask, revealing her wide red_eyes. Her profile was later updated to show her actual mask-less face. However, her role in holox remains consistent with her profile. She is one of the more musically inclined members of her generation and has a wide vocal range, being able to switch between her high-pitched speaking tone and a much deeper voice depending on the song. She is also in the process of learning English and makes an effort to use it during her streams. She's fond of being deliberately annoyingly cute whenever she wants to mess with others, often making the noise "Poe, Poe, Poe~" whenever she does so. She is also the biggest butt of hygiene jokes out of all holo members due to her admitting that she doesn't take regular baths/showers. She became one of the breakout stars of holox soon after her debut, gaining 500,000 subscribers within 4 days. Chloe streamed regularly until January 26, 2025, when she ceased all regular streaming activity and social media activity, but remained as a hololive affiliate, much like Watson Amelia's 'exit' from regular hololive activity.
