In the episode, the main heroes are being attacked by an enemy that can create illusions, leading to a surreal dream-like episode with the eponymous scene being the most famously surreal sequence. In it, Saizou/Ninja Blue suddenly wakes up in a sinister hospital with doctors menacingly brandishing blades. He watches a body rise up from an operating table. Said body turns out to be a police officer wearing sunglasses and a helmet and the officer says a sentence in English that has been heard as either "Today is Friday in California" or "Today is a fine day in California" with the former being the more popular variant. Saizou initially reacts in wide-eyed bewilderment before he suddenly has to flee for his life once the officer opens fire, complete with the officer actually saying "Shoot!" in English.
