An indie immersive sim currently in development, Peripeteia entered Steam Early Access as of February 2025.

Set in a postnuclear alt-history Eastern Europe, players control the amnesiac cyborg Marie as she navigates the postwar Polish Solidarity Republic in search of the bunker from which she came. As the PSR stretches thin in a battle against westophile joycultists, communist insurgents, and the viscera of dark soviet secrets, her path may very well dictate the balance of power in such a delicate time.

Inspired by games such as E.Y.E. and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as well as Deus Ex, Peripeteia is also inspired by works such as Serial Experiments Lain.

Conceived some time in the late 2010s by what would become the 9th Exodus development team, a core of three known as Shodanon, Dwyer, and Baller's Gait developed a concept into a playable demo from 2019-2021, and a successful Kickstarter run saw them exceed a €10,000 goal with €37,033. Despite plans to release by 2022, however, complications including the departure of a contributor (and the need to replace their work) have delayed the prospective 1.0 release to 2026 as of current writing (March 2025).
