Regarded as a Pole by NPCs within Peripeteia, Marie is known to take up residence in an Apartment after the start of the game and gradually builds a friendship with the Hallway Weirdo, Kasia_(Peripeteia). The extent and nature of her augments is somewhat unclear, but ingame text and dialogue as of the February 2025 build implies that even her face is artificial. She does not benefit from nicotine, runs on electricity rather than food, and apparently eats batteries in order to use them. However, she does get affected, if briefly, by alcohol. Possibly comparable in extent of her cybernetics to Kusanagi_Motoko. Notably, Marie's eyes glow in the dark and their brightness corresponds with her energy level. Her signature weapon seems to be a type of cavalry_sword, a saber_(weapon), and she is also often pictured with a suppressed Stechkin_APS.
