She is Dante_(Devil_may_cry) and Vergil_(Devil_May_Cry)'s beloved mother. She was a kind and gentle human woman who primarily raised the two half human/half demon boys and her passing at the hands of demons was a traumatic event that dramatically shifted the two boys' lives. For Dante, he was inspired by her humanity to fight for humans and protect them from demons. For Vergil, her passing led to his obsession with gaining more power. Trish was made to be the spitting image of her by Mundus as a way to manipulate and lure Dante into his trap. On a meta level, Trish's resemblance to her is furthered by having the voice actors for Trish also play Eva. She is voiced by Sarah Lafleur (DMC1), and Wendee Lee (DMC5). In the latter game, she and Trish are modeled after Ariana Diamant. In the Netflix adaptation of Devil May Cry, she is played by Kari Wahlgren, who was the original actor for Lady in the games.
