Now Viewing: darkness_devilTag type: Character One of the primal fear devils from Chainsaw_Man. As its name suggests, it represents humans' fear of the dark. It's a minor antagonist in the story, but the entire sequence featuring it is one of the more famous moments from the manga. It is often shrouded in darkness and barely visible, but its full appearance is a grotesque humanoid monster. Its legs are two fully grown but emaciated adult bodies, its torso down to its crotch is adorned with bald human heads that almost look like skulls. The rest of its body, including its arms, is made of human arms, making it look like a bunch of humans stuck to each other. The human heads' faces are based off the three wise monkeys, with each head missing a body part that corresponds to the three monkeys. Its head is the only part that doesn't look humanoid, resembling a beast like most of the other devils from the series. The Darkness Devil is a silent antagonist that's introduced in the International Assassins arc. Its introduction causes the story to dive straight into cosmic horror due to it attacking the heroes with a series of incomprehensibly powerful and bizarre attacks. It's so powerful that none of the heroes have a chance of defeating it and are only able to escape with their lives thanks to Makima's help.
