She's bilingual, speaking English and Japanese, but can also speak some French and Spanish. Her native language is English, but she decided to move to Japan for her professional career because she felt that anime was a positive influence on her life and she wanted to join the industry to give back. Initially, her disfluency in Japanese cost her multiple auditions, but she succeeded in joining the cast of idol producer Akimoto Yasushi's 22/7 in December 2016. She was cast as Fujimi_Sakura, her most well known role. As a performer, she's well known for code-switching, changing her voice tone and demeanor depending on when she's speaking English or Japanese. When she speaks Japanese, she speaks in a higher pitched voice more like what's usually expected from a Japanese idol, but when speaking English, she speaks in a lower voice and uses more snarky American style jokes. As a voice actor, she's frequently cast in roles that make use of her bilingual abilities and is able to play her characters in both Japanese and English.
