Now Viewing: eats_a_lemon_and_dies_(meme)Tag type: General A meme in which a character eats a lemon, audibly munches it for a few seconds, and finally "dies" with a distorted scream and appearance. The meme originated from a video titled "sonic eats a lemon and dies"(www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgNI_haDmAA) made using Discord emojis. This version simply had Sonic_the_Hedgehog grunt at the end. A later parody with Hatsune_Miku titled "miku eats a lemon and dies"(www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd6dCUiqo2w) added a longer and more audible munching as well as the distorted scream at the end. This version became the more well known version of the meme.
