Her appearance has changed a bit in each of her appearances; whether its a wardrobe change or even her face being rendered differently. For some reason, she has had many voice actor changes. She was designed by Oishi_Isao. Prior to her joining S.T.A.R.S.S. she already had extensive professional training and is skilled at combat and unlocking doors. She is a serious and professional woman who has a very close relationship with Chris Redfield. In gameplay, she also has the ability to carry a lot of weapons, even in Resident Evil 3, where her default outfit has less articles of clothing. She debuted in original Resident Evil game as one of the S.T.A.R.S members sent to investigate the disappearance of Bravo Team. In the original game, she wore a beret, shoulder-neck armor, and a blue shirt and pants. In the game, Resident_Evil_3:_Nemesis, she wore a blue tube top and miniskirt. In Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, she wears a purple vest, white jeans, and snow boots. In Resident Evil 5, she wears a uniform with a cap in flashbacks, and a tight bodysuit in the present day. Her brunette hair is dyed blonde in this game. In Revelations she wears a wetsuit with her gear strapped to it. She is one of the most iconic heroes of the Resident Evil franchise and has made the most crossover appearances out of all the characters and her designs are different in each guest appearance reflecting her differing appearances in the series. She has appeared in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 with a design based on her original appearance in Resident Evil 1 and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with a design based on her Resident Evil 5 appearance. She has also appeared in Project X Zone with her Resident Evil Revelations design. Her face, from the Gamecube remake of the original Resident Evil onwards, is modeled after actress Julia Both. However, her face was redesigned in Revelations and Mercenaries 3D. She is voiced by Una Kavanagh (RE1), Catherine Disher, (RE3, Marvel vs. Capcom 2), Heidi Anderson (Remake), Patricia Ja Lee (Umbrella Chronicles, RE5), Tara Platt (Pachislot), Kari Wahlgreen (English voice of Marvel vs. Capcom 3), Inoue_Kikuko (JPN voice in Under the Skin), Kathleen Barr (ENG version of Under the Skin), Yuya_Atsuko (JPN voice of Marvel vs. Capcom 3), Elysia Rotaru (Puzzle Fighter), and Michelle Ruff (RE: Revelations 1 and 2, Operation Raccoon City) She is played by Sienna Guillory in the live action movies. In preparation for the role, she studied Jill's movements in the original games and made an effort to move like the character did. She is played by Inezh in the live action cutscenes of the original game.
