Now Viewing: inaba_tewiTag type: Character 因幡 てゐ (いなば -) The "Earthborn Rabbit", Stage 5 midboss of Touhou's Imperishable_Night, and later a playable character in Phantasmagoria_of_Flower_View. A rabbit youkai with the power to bring good fortune to humans, often leading them out of or through the bamboo_forest and into Eientei, where she also serves as de facto leader of the earthborn rabbits. Known to have a playful personality and being a prankster at times. She is often depicted using a mallet, the tool used by the rabbits to pound mochi. Possibly the White Hare of Inaba from the ancient Kojiki, the oldest book of Japan's written legends. This would make her one of the oldest living beings in Gensoukyou.
