Now Viewing: midori_no_hibiTag type: Copyright 美鳥の日々 A romantic comedy anime/manga created by Inoue_Kazuhiko. It ran from September 25, 2002 – November 15, 2004. It was adapted into an anime TV series in 2004 by Studio_Pierrot which condenses the manga's story and removes a few characters. Although the anime ended before the manga, it featured its own ending that ended up being similar to the manga's actual ending. The anime was directed by Kobayashi Tsuneo and written by Sakaguchi Kazuhisa, Ikeda Mamiko, Kawabata Shinya, and Satou Takuya. The soundtrack was composed by Hirano Yoshihisa. Sawamura Seiji is a tough delinquent and a brawler. His ferocity and fighting skills strike fear in almost everyone. Unfortunately, they are also the reason why he has yet to have a romantic relationship because every girl he's interested in is scared of him. Years of being single has made him frustrated and he laments that he may have to spend the rest of his life with his right hand as his girlfriend. He ends up getting his wish in an odd way as one day his right hand literally becomes a cute green haired girl named Kasugano Midori who is openly in love with him. Seiji is shocked at this turn of events and is initially somewhat happy, but becomes despondent again once he realizes that his 'right hand' is in love with him and rejects her. Midori becoming his right hand also creates additional problems as Seiji's right hand is his dominant one that he uses in fights. There is also no apparent way to reverse what happened to Seiji and Midori, so Seiji ends up having to live with her. Seiji tries to romance other women while taking care of Midori until they find a way to reverse the transformation, but as Seiji spends more time with Midori, he gradually develops strong feelings for the kind girl and becomes less certain if he wants her to leave.
