Now Viewing: nogami_saekoTag type: Character 野上冴子 A blue-haired policewoman who often wears pantyhoses in City_Hunter. Although she is on the opposite side of the law in comparison to Saeba_Ryou, she is a close associate of his and often seeks his help. Although she is essentially working with a criminal, she has a very strong sense of justice. The two are good friends, but Ryou often complains about how manipulative she is. She is well aware of Ryou's libido and even exploits it whenever it suits her purposes. She often uses her good looks and sex appeal to her advantage. In combat, she favors knives. In the Angel_Heart continuity she is the chief of police. As the City Hunter cast is older in this continuity, Saeko has developed a complex about her advanced age and the fact that she is still single. Both subjects are sore spots for her. She is voiced by Asagami_Youko. In live action, she is played by Yau Chingmy in the 1993 HK film, and Francoise Yip in the 1997 film. Nogami_Reika is her sister.
