Given that 'hyan' isn't an actual honorific, the one that left the note is reasonable to assume that she was going to say "-chan" but was a bit overwhelmed. I'd consider this a case of translating the nature of the word, not the letter.

Still, were it me, I might say "onii-chyan" to make it easier to see what I was going for.

onii-hyan is of course of "onii-chan" in what she was trying to say.
-hyan, actually just how a woman might spell "-chan" while having sex/masturbating, and should be transliterated as-is.
