Man, did we really have to fast forward past the Mileena being in charge thing for Shao Kahn lite? I mean to be fair they skipped a lot of potentially interesting things like the Lin Kuei cyborg civil war, Johnny & Sonya’s budding romance, introducing Kenshi, etc.
It’s kind of baffling every time people skip cool sounding shit to focus on something pretty dull in comparison.
