She is one of the main characters of Love_Live!_School_Idol_Project In the anime, she is part of the student council and is the vice president. Unlike Eli, Nozomi is sympathetic towards Muse. Nozomi is also much more laid-back and relaxed in personality. She has a habit of grabbing other girls' breasts and she even uses this as a threat. She is interested in Tarot cards and often attributes her decisions to what the cards tell her. She is also one of the more cunning characters in the series, often nudging others in a specific direction to fulfill her goals. In spite of what her seemingly perpetually cheerful personality would suggest, she has actually spent most of her life as a loner. Before she met Eli, she was a gloomy and lonely girl with no friends. She also moved around a lot so she never formed lasting relationships with anyone. Her parents spend so much time at work that they are almost invisible in her life and she has no siblings to interact with. Eli was her first friend and she felt a kinship with her even before she first talked to her; she noted that Eli too was also isolated from others. Nozomi was also fascinated with how honest and focused Eli was and this led her to attempt to initiate a conversation with someone for the first time and breaking out of her loner status. The two of them became close friends soon afterwards; Nozomi, too, became a more open and friendly person after befriending Eli. She speaks in the Kansai dialect. She is voiced by Kusuda_Aina.
