Now Viewing: rufus_shinraTag type: Character ルーファウス神羅 A light-haired man who wears a white suit and longcoat. He is a minor villain from Final_Fantasy_Vii. He is the son of the ruthless president of the Shinra Corporation and was Vice President before Sephiroth murdered his father. He arrives at Shinra Corporation declaring that he will be different from his father: he will be more ruthless than his dad could ever hope to be because he believes it's better to be feared by others and he will not waste his time and money trying to convince the populace to like Shinra like his father did. Rufus is a calm and calculating man, but in spite of his ruthlessness, he treats his employees well and is willing to help others, if he thinks it will benefit his plans in some fashion. In combat, he wields a shotgun. He owns a pet called Dark Nation who also does battle alongside him. In Japanese, he is voiced by Okawa_Toru. In English, he was first voiced by Wally Wingert in Final_Fantasy_VII_Advent_Children and Josh Bowman in Final_Fantasy_VII_Remake.
