I'll be honest, when the trailers first came for Fire Emblem Fates, I initially thought it would be a prequel to Awakening given they have the same art style. I then theorized that Aqua and Xander could have been the parents to Chrom, Lissa, and Emmeryn given how slightly similar Lucina looks to Aqua and the blonde had to come from somewhere.

At the time, I thought the Lobster Lord would be the main enemy.
