I mean yeah, that can happen. If a party member is low on SP as well as Makoto you just trade them off for someone who's full. Then replenish Makoto's SP with either something big or small. Drinks offer 5 - 10SP which you can farm from vending machines or treasures. You could have over 50 of the same thing and just mash the button till its full. The mental image will just look like this lol
