Not all of us...but yes, a good amount. At least of the female fanbase that's relatively new. The rest of us tend to grow up and realize that she's not a threat to "teh sexxors" or "teh yaois." She's still a main character in her own right.
That said, this is a gorgeous pic. I believe that it's based off of a fic, as I think I've seen it before, but I cannot for the life of me remember what fic.
