I'm not going to explain this again, alright, so I'll better make it clear before anyone else does this same mistake: In Japan, where they first printed the Pokémon Special manga, they Christened the rival character Green, due to the release of the Pokémon: Green Version, the second version of the Pokémon series followed by the Blue version, which name they Christened the female character of the game. In the printing of the United States, however, they decided that the name "Blue" was a better name for the "rival" character, whose former name was Green, dubbing him "Blue", then changing the female character's name (former name "Blue") to Green.
Got that? I'm not gonna explain again because that's pretty much all I know.
