Disagree. Maybe if Simon was older, but yoko and kamina were the most badass, and part of their appeal was that they were always fighting. Plus, nothing was more epic than when they finally kissed.

I agree with Ladylittner. For me it's never interesting if there isn't a bit of a conflict or a personalities clash mixed with attraction, the 'chemistry'. And what's with the "deserves" thing? Yoko is not a prize for being a good boy, goddammit. It doesn't really matter, fact is that she chose Kamina above anyone else and anything she wanted to give him, he was determined to return tenfold. Also, how could anybody overlook that they have a matching char design?

It doesn't really matter, fact is that she chose Kamina above anyone else and anything she wanted to give him, he was determined to return tenfold. Yoko and Simon were the same age, Simon was just short and had a baby face. Kamina was slightly older, but I still don't think Simon deserved Yoko as him and Nia were perfectly fine together. If anyone deserved more than they got it was Viral because he got no one and could never have anyone.

Viral? He was a former murderer responsible for who knows how many deaths of the people from Yoko's village, Kittan's village, others. Never really showed any remorse either. He also killed Kamina. I don't have much pitty for him.
If anyone got srewed badly, it was Kamina and Yoko who got to enjoy themselves for a mere half a day.
As for Yoko's age, according to the producers, Yoko might be even a couple months older than Kamina (who is eighteen). And that makes her 4-5 years older than Simon, who is no more than fourteen.
