This is an excellent example of acceptable breaks from reality in action. I know that arthropods don't possess sexual organs even closely resembling ours, and I know that ones of that size would either suffocate or be crushed to death, and yet I can't bring myself to care in the slightest.

I think it's probably okay anyway if they're mutant alien cyborg arthropod lookalikes from another dimension, or something, rather than actual-size insects.
