I'd like to see a modern harem anime where the guy isn't a wuss, and can hold his own in a fight.

During the chapter where everyone's stuck inside a mansion on an island and they think there's a murderer somewhere, Rito thinks to himself about how he always has to be protected by the girls, and I was hoping he was going to try and get stronger so that he doesn't have to be protected and so that he can help the girls whenever there's a dangerous enemy around, but no such luck.
