As a white man who has lived in Asia I can say that minority oppression is common everywhere. I'm sure that reporter in Africa who was raped by 70 men for being a non-Muslim white woman would agree.

Nothing against you or what you said (I agree personally), but tumblr and all the rest of the human right activists would scream that you are racist against muslims, don't understand white privilege and don't have enough white guilt. You either apologize that you're white and will not even dare to mention that any other group besides whites oppresses anyone. Especially muslims. That's a big no-no. If you, you're an evil filthy racist.
Check up the rape spree in Scandinava committed by muslim immigrants. It never got to mainstream media, because it would be "racist"!

Yea, I'm about as un-racist that a white guy can get and the only people I hate are haters. I was just saying that white people can be oppressed too in places where we're the minority. Actually, this can be anybody.

I will not, however, say that this is always the case. There are still places out there where the minority rules the masses and I am well aware of the history of such places as South Africa. I don't have to be proud of it but I won't ignore it either.

What I will say is that white people come from many backgrounds. Personally, my ancestors never owned slaves. We never even owned land until the Oklahoma land rush and it was about that time we got our first dog. My mother's side came over from Ireland after the American Civil War. Also, two of my ancestors are native Americans.
