I was thinking Venom. Both of them are basically mirror counterparts of two heroes Venom to Spiderman and Vergil to Dante. They both wanted more power, hence Venom acquiring the symbiote and Vergil spending most of DMC3 trying to gain his father's power. They're both fan favorites, and like the Dante and Deadpool rivalry: their names both start with V =P
