I'm trying to figure out the mechanics of this particular fall, was she running paperwork across the roof when he shoe suddenly broke causing her to fall on Naruto or something? Can't say I'd complain too much about being in his position though, except for the probable concussion, but then again, she is a medic. :=)

Shizune's shoe-strap breaks, while standing, she brings her heel up and raises her leg at the hip, twisting herself into an unsteady position. Naruto, somehow charged with a stack of papers to deliver, grabs the stack of papers underneath with his right hand, and stabilizes the stack from the top with his left. Naruto, with papers in hand and vision blocked, runs around a blind corner where he finds Shizune. In attempting to stop, Naruto's feet slip out and forward from under him, catching Shizune's heel. Naruto's momentum carries him far enough where his ears are about half-a-step behind Shizune's feet. From there, Shizune, attempting to maintain balance, takes half-a-step back while crouching. She fails to catch her balance due to the awkward position of her foot in relation to the rest of her body when she was inspecting her shoe, inevitably falling on her ass. Comically, Naruto's face just happened to be exactly where her point-of-impact would have been had Naruto not have slid under her.

Naruto's position is explained with a simple banana-peel slip type of fall where he froze-up instead of attempting to compensate; this while carrying a stack of papers that he inadvertently threw whilst falling.

The things that don't quite fit are as follows: if this theory was perfectly accurate, Naruto's right hand would've been palm-up; Shizune should've heard, or otherwise sensed Naruto's approach and should've been able to prevent disaster; the most glaring flaw in this theory is that ANYONE in the village hidden in the leaves would entrust Naruto to transport papers.

True fact: I spent about thirty times longer typing the scenario out then it took to solve for the mechanics of such a fall.
