hes not getting to work on time unless, #1 their living at work, #2 hes leaving 3 days early or #4 he/she (idk what to call ranma) is going with him XD, this is officially my favorite anime couple (other then miroku and songo from inuyasha)

You know anon1, they DID commercialize GPS devices ever since the first 90ies, nowadays included even in mobile phones, so, ostensibly, if he can pay attention to the GPS he'd have no problems navigating... unless you subscribe to the part of the fandom that want him, by only being around, to magically confuse compasses, inertial navigation systems and even GPS devices (must be hell to take a plane in that case).
A real life Ranma/Ryoga would have been 16 in the first half of the 90ies, this means today they'd be pushing for their 40ies, and a job at that age would be only a good idea, in spite of poor direction sense.
