With the addition of the canards it could maintain controllable flight with an angle of attack of 85degrees, take off on 25% less runway, and could take off at speeds as low as 68km/h (42mph) and had reversible thrust for shorter landings and rapid deceleration, landing on just 500meters (1,650ft) of runway compared to 2,300m (7,500ft) for the standard F-15 along with greater maneuverability, thrust vectoring and canards added to an already well merited aircraft is no joke! That’s impressive!

Not to mention the impressive amount of research is furthered by being part of project Quiet Spike and the greater understanding of thrust vectoring technology and canard aircraft to come from its lifetime! This plane is nowhere near something to dismiss as bad!
