@omega13 I couldn't have said it better myself. Capcom Vergil needs to kill Ninja Theory's Vergil after what they had done with him. Why can't Ninja Theory makes it own new I.P but with devil may cry style gameplay like Sega did with Bayonetta?

I never liked this version of Vergil. He was the strong-and-silent anime cliche. Now the Vergil from the Devil May Cry novel written by Shinya Goikeda with the help from Hideki Kamiya, even though he had little to no emotions, he was a sociopath who wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He even shot a gunsmith in cold blood with a sawed-off shotgun he purchased from the gun store. The gunsmith he shot goes by the name Nell Goldstein, the one responsible for creating ebony and ivory for Dante. The Vergil from the novel goes by the alias "Gilver".
