Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen cosplay?

Ilmari Juutilainen? Strike witches? Ilmavoimat.

(but definitely not a ki-51.)

That´s the Symbol of Finnish Airforces on the plane. (used between years 1918-1945)

Letty's sitting inside a Brewster Buffalo, a fighter manufactured by the US Brewster firm. It served with the US Navy as the F2A-2 and F2A-3, and the Finnish air forces fought the Russians to a standstill twice with the export version, dubbed the "B-239."

In American service the plane has a bad reputation; the F2A-2 never saw combat, and the "upgraded" F2A-3 had so much weight tacked on by morons that it became useless; massacred in their only operational engagement (Midway.) The much lighter B-239 (similar to the F2A-2 model) was much more successful with the Finnish Air Force, used in both the "Winter War" (hence Letty) and the "Continuation War" against Soviet Russia to great effect.

Finns still love this plane, and they still call it the "Pearl Of The Northern Skies."

@jedi1357 - Where in the HELL did you get the impression this was possibly a Ki-51?

^ I didn't. The tag looked out of place. Apparently it is an artist's tag.
