You are an idiot.
Besides being only tested on mice, the method is more unsafe than cloning (out of 500 embryos only 2 survived) and also, the Igf2 gene can only come from males, so if the method is used continuous times the gene gets weaker, turning the method even more unsafe.

Science is always progressing forwards, so it's not that unlikely that those results could be improved in the future. Also, this is based off of a science fiction show where they cause the center of our galaxy to fall into a ridiculously humongous black hole.
