Agreed with anon 2 seriously this was the worse pairing of all time nothing ffX suggested these two would marry infact most of time Lulu belittled waka every chance she got.

yet in x2 they are married its like the devs felt sorry for waka and gave him a free pass.

While Tidus had to earn Yunas heart waka got lulus as a gift.

You should really replay FFX and this time actually pay attention. This pairing is one of the most blatantly obvious in all of Final Fantasy. The whole reason she even becomes Yuna's guardian, despite not initially wanting to after the disaster of her last job, is because she wanted to look after Wakka.

Tidus had to earn Yuna's heart? She was totally enamored with him the second she learned that he was Jecht's son, which is something she finds out very early on.

You're just jealous that an absolute CHAD like Wakka ended up with the best girl. Seethe harder and have sex incel.

Yuna did become immensely interested in Tidus during the boat but only platonically. They only became romantically involved way later.

I didn't mind Lulu getting with Wakka much since like you said, they telegraphed that clearly in the first game. I always thought she would pair better with Auron given that he was the only other serious party member and he had a hard life too.
