Besides, one can't just 'join" shinto, as it's not a formal religion to convert into. It's more like a loose, nature-oriented belief and value system. You don't join or acquire shinto, you grow up in it.

Also, it really doesn't do anything with lolis, though it doesn't forbid enjoying carnal sins, though, shinto has many aspects that should make it sympathetic for a large number of folks.
