Uh, no. Losing a bet is a term that has been around since the late 80s, long before MLP was around. And its an excuse for a whole lot more than just cross dressing or dressing embarrassingly.

I think "Lost a bet" has been around longer than that. Mark Twain may have even used it. *A Yankee in King Arthur's Cort or something.*
