The gun is actually based on the HK416, which actually looks the same as a M4, but has more modernizd internals. It is also made by H&K (a German Company, fitting for her)

If you want to double check, notice the fire selector switch. M4/M16s usually actually have writing that says "Safe-Semi-Auto/Burst", since the HK416 was designed to export to a number of countries, it just has little icons.

It looks to me like she's using a modified low profile stock and "commando" style foregrip, which, again is designed to make the gun smaller and easier to handle in close in- probably because of her stature.
