People who downvoted EonSonny must be fanboys because he is right, we are talking about the 8th Sinnoh Gym Leader and one of Sinnoh Elite Four.

Matsuba is not an outstanding Gym Leader and don't make me get started on Minaki.

I still think that Gym Leaders' strength in the game doesn't reflect their actual power. If they battled with their best pokés nobody would ever get the 8 badges...
