There goes another guy, he seems to not care. Yea, in America she is a Transsexual, but in Japan... its still a male, he just hides it. Dont believe me, look it up. you will find an article having a direct quote from the makers that says that. and they like that crap too.

BiggJD it's not clear if Poison is a man or not, the story says that when Final Fight was released in America the character designer was asked in an interview if he believed that hitting a woman was OK, and he answered "what woman? a don't see any woman in the game" slightly suggesting that there wasn't any woman in the game to avoid censorship and judiciary issues. But the truth is he never said that Poison is a man.

@ postop guy
the official stance is that in japan Poison "tucks away her business" while in the US she is post op. Said by Ono himself. Still are contradictions of course- one of those card fighter things outright says on her card "She's a MAN, baby!" and on Hugo's card, refers to Poison as his "MANager" (like that)
And in SFxT, there is (or was, I think it's removed because some rights group got offended) dialogue of Ryu mentioning she fights very 'un-ladylike" like a man. As well as Poison's own comment of rushing in being a bad strategy, mentioning you have to lure people "into your trap"
