This font makes it hard to notice, but it may be the that that "i" is small and to the upper right, which may be equivalent to the smaller "i" used in certain katakana names. You know, the "xi" when typing from romaji that creates a ぃ versus a full-sized い, which when mixing with the て(te) becomes てぃ、or (Ti). Or I'm completely wrong. I should be asleep, but I'm fapping instead. Fuck school.
