I agree there is no official statement, mostly because everyone seems to have forgotten Roxy ever existed, but the fact that it is a palette swap seems to imply that they were both meant to be trans.

With Roxy being forgotten though, we'll probably never know for sure.

Also, I wouldn't trust google translate, if I were you. I've entered things that I know the meaning of into it to test it, and gotten things like "I back is low" from "I am short" (and many things even further from the mark), so you really have to take it with a grain of salt.

Also, thanks to whoever upload this. I get tired of trying to convince people that Poison and Roxy were planned to be transsexuals from the get-go. It's pretty obvious by their sprite design and voice in the original arcade game. Roxy's bio in Capcom Classics Collection was obviously a half-assed retcon by an intern who wanted to masturbate over Poison's palette swap without feeling ashamed of the fact that they both have dicks.
