Suggesting that "umbilical cord" be changed to "oviposition", seeing as how moths lay eggs, and oviposition (putting ones eggs into another living thing to incubate them till hatching, etc.) is something we see a lot of in human-insect pairings.

Actually Cowgirl, this is the last (Or at least, next) part in a series where the girl gives birth to the moth. Your guess was good, but that actually is an umbilical cord.
