@ 1st anon: This image is actually about when Banagher couldn't save Loni from her Shamblo's Psyco frame control. Although in the end, Loni was finally freed from her MA, Riddhe already shot her cockpit using Unicorn's beam magnum, thus killing her instantly.

In her final moments before her death, Loni expressed her regrets over what she had done to Banagher with psycommu contact

This is one of the effects of Newtypes. Newtypes themselves produces a unique bond unlike any other being in which they are naturally drawn to each other in hope to understand one another, only to end up in tragedy which casts an ever lasting shadow upon the poor Newtype survivors. Only meant in unicorn (my bad for not being specific). I'm aware that this happened in the other gundam series's but didn't notice much of it in unicorn maybe I need to watch it again really like unicorn by the way.:)
