Fun fact... Native American women didn't wear headdresses, these were mainly for men.

The hats women wore, were Peaked hood caps. c:
Which were just as sacred, seeing only females were only allowed to wear / touch them / make them, and so on and so forth.

So instead of this, she would have been wearing a Peaked hood cap, ;x just sayin'
