Actually, so far I know, it's never been definitely confirmed that she did die. We just get to see her lying unmoving underneath that tree trunk with a bit of blood flowing out of her mouth.

Considering the absolutely insane things many Naruto characters survive, I frankly find it doubtful that a tree landing on her would kill a kunoichi of Tayuya's caliber. Hurt her, yeah. Kill her? Fuck no.

Fun Note: Even though Kabuto GREW a Tayuya out of him,it could be the same as Orochimaru growing out of sasukes curse mark...suffecient DNA.

Hell,Kishimoto is reviving everyone else,why not have Tayuya working with Ibiki?
